6th Luxembourg-Poland Business Conference on Artificial Intelligence

The 6th Luxembourg-Poland Business Conference on Artificial Intelligence was opened yesterday by the Ambassador of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg in Warsaw, Paul Schmit along with the Ministers of Finance of Luxembourg and Poland, Gilles Roth and Andrzej Domański, CFA.

In addition to discussing the opportunities and challenges of AI, one of the most interesting statements of the conference came from dr. Slawomir Kumka of IBM's Poland Software Laboratory, who announced that we are on the brink of a new revolution, even greater than AI: quantum computing, where the power comes from an unprecedented acceleration of operations, enabling solutions to complex problems that are now unsolvable.

Referring to the risks associated with AI technology, Dr. Kumka stated that AI will not replace people, but, people who understand AI will rather replace those who do not.
