Mr Marek Musioł participated in the 3rd European Economic Congress in Katowice, May 16th-18th, 2011.
European Economic Congress, organized by PTWP SA Group, in only 3 years has become the most important economic event in the Central Europe. The head of its Programme Council is the President of the European Parliament Jerzy Buzek. This year’s Congress took place in Katowice from 16th to 18th of May in which six thousand guests, nine hundred discussants, prime ministers of Poland, Hungary, Czech Republic, Croatia, European Union commissioners, ministers and representatives of science and business participated.
Congress was dedicated to the most crucial issues concerning economic and social development of Europe. The following subjects were discussed: the competitive economy of Europe and new of European Union, the problems of Central Europe, the European Union’s Climate and Energy Package and its impact on the economy, the common energy policy of European Union, innovations and the development of the economy, regions and cities relation.
